And then, at the horizon, the band of gold. Thick, vibrant, sovereign. Gold leaf surfaces across the entire width, it is there that the light is preparing to burst forth. It is not yet there, but already it is. One senses it, one foresees it. It rises through the matter.

Below, the turquoise sea waits. Calm, dense, ready to receive what is coming. The crackled textures carry the memory of every morning that has passed.
