Inner light

The Inner Light series was born from a fascination with wabi-sabi — the Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection, in patina, in the ephemeral. Each canvas is built up in layers of matter: natural pigments, mineral textures, translucent veils that accumulate slowly.

 

Morning light reveals them differently from evening light. Some days they seem deeper. Others, brighter. As if they were breathing with you.

 

They are contemplative presences. They do not impose. They accompany.
