Waves of Paradise

The sky sets ablaze. The whole upper part of the canvas is nothing but an immense field of raw gold, dazzling, textured like a sunrise that would have frozen its light within the matter. The gold leaf catches every angle of the day, it lives with the gaze.

Below, the navy blue Mediterranean unfolds in successive layers. Each wave carries its white foam, like small promises rolling toward the shore. The horizontal gesture of the brush tells of the infinite movement of the sea.

This is no longer a landscape, it is a suspended emotion. The moment when sky and sea answer one another, when one gives the other what it holds most precious.
