Soleil Vert

There are landscapes one does not understand at first glance. They displace our habits, they invent their own rules. Here, the sun sets in green. It does not descend into the sea, it descends into a liquid meadow that belongs to no known geography.

The sky is mineral, grey and soft, almost unreal. At the horizon, a turquoise blue mountain rises, a silhouette suspended between dream and memory. It seems to float, barely resting on the line of the world.

And below, the great emerald green expanse. Dense, vibrant, crossed by golden bursts in gold leaf that surface like the reflection of a sun that would have chosen this colour to tell itself. A landscape of daydream, that one enters with open eyes to no longer want to leave.
