Out of the Blue

Out of the blue. Come from nowhere.

A vast blue, faded, almost soft, like a sky that had forgotten to be sky. And all around, the rust, the copper, the ancient matter that refuses to disappear. The edges carry the memory of things.

At the centre, a space that breathes. As if the canvas had remembered it was a window.

It is the moment when light surges forth without warning. When something appears, when one no longer expected it. The Mediterranean knows how to do that, to offer moments one does not ask for.
