Let it Flow

89 × 100 cm
Let it flow. Let it be. Do not hold back what asks to move.
The matter is alive, worked, run through with layers that answer one another. The reds, the ochres, the golds all seem to descend, to slide, to let themselves be carried.
Nothing forced. Nothing frozen. It is a canvas that celebrates the movement of things, that reminds us that everything passes and that this passage is what makes life.
Gold leaf surfaces in bursts, like glints of light caught in the flow. It does not hold back the movement, it accompanies it.
Matter, structural plaster, acrylic, gold leaf. Wabi-sabi. To paint the flow. To sculpt the letting-go.
