How Deep Is Your Love

The sky is a white silence, dense, almost mineral. A fine line of gold traces the horizon like a promise one dares not name.

Then the sea opens. Turquoise first, luminous, almost tender. It plunges next into cobalt, ultramarine, indigo. The runs descend, seek the depths, lose themselves there.

Below, the black. The unfathomable.

A canvas that poses the question gently. How far does love go, how far does the bond go, how far down does the light descend when the waters grow deep.

Matter, structural plaster, acrylic, gold leaf. Wabi-sabi. To paint the light. To sculpt the presence.
