Éclats de joie

Joy in blocks of colour.
Squares that fit together like the pieces of a celebration: turquoise, pink, deep green, red, saffron yellow. Here and there a glint of gold catches the light and sends it back.
Each block has its own surface, its own life, its own character, and yet everything agrees. Nothing is smooth, everything vibrates.
Joy makes no noise. It makes colour.
Painting the light. Sculpting presence.
