1-2-3 Sun. The childhood game where one advances, freezes, advances again. Here, the sun advances in three movements, three panels that follow one another like a slow choreography.
Each panel carries its light. Turquoise, gold, incandescence. Each panel is a step, a threshold, a phase of the day.
Together they form a polyptych that celebrates movement, transformation, life that advances by successive impulses.
The gold leaf is the common thread. It runs through the three panels, links them, harmonises them. As if the sun, from one to the other, never stopped watching over.
Matter, structural plaster, acrylic, gold leaf. Wabi-sabi. To paint the movement. To sculpt the game.
