Tout le bleu du ciel

Peinture abstraite triptyque, horizon méditerranéen turquoise et bleu profond séparé par une ligne de feuille d'or, texture plâtre structural

120x120 cm : 3x(40x12O cm)

The sky descends, the sea rises. Between the two, a line of gold.

This is the suspended moment, when light comes to rest its final gaze on the horizon. The turquoise of the sky meets the deep blue of the Mediterranean, and from their meeting rises a golden band, thin, vibrant, holding everything in balance.

Three canvases, three breaths. The painting was cut to travel, reassembled to last. Each panel keeps its share of sky, its share of sea, its share of light. The intervals between the panels do not separate, they let the air pass through.

There is something of meditation in this painting. We look, we breathe, we settle. The blue soothes. The gold warms. The horizon reminds us that beyond what the eye can reach, there is always another light.

The sky gives itself to the sea. The sea returns the gold to the sky.

Matter, acrylic, gold leaf, structural plaster. Wabi-sabi. Painting light. Sculpting the horizon.
