La Lumière Cachée

40 × 50 cm
There are lights that burst. And then there are those that hide, discreet, patient, waiting to be sought.
The sky is pale, almost faded, soft as a memory. The earth is dense, dark, deeply worked. Between the two, a band of gold surfaces, barely visible, like a precious vein within the rock.
It is the light that does not give itself. The one the gaze must earn. The one that rewards those who take their time.
Small format, great intention. To be contemplated up close.
Matter, structural plaster, acrylic, gold leaf. Wabi-sabi. To paint the discreet. To sculpt patience.
